This Saturday at Westshore - at 11:00 on the fields at Juan de Fuca - all four island clubs will be mixing and matching players to fill positions. Lots of spares. Looks like XVs Canada-Chile after at Westhills (wait a minute it's Starlight now, why do they always change their names out there?)
As in previous years going back a long, long ways; the objective of Grizz is to give some of our young bears some game time where there wasn't one for them, but also to play with guys who have been there and done that before. All the island clubs have bought into this concept and are trying to do it. We've always done it.
We hope to get 3 or 4 games in before Christmas, same in the Spring.
You need to be registered to play. That means Sportlomo and use the Grizz package - cheaper than the Senior Mens package at about $180 and covers your insurance. Thanks to the Prez for the seniors' discount!
