The James Bay Athletic Association Under 17 boys team are thrilled to announce they have been granted the opportunity to conduct a 50 / 50 draw at the upcoming Major League Rugby game at Starlight Stadium in Langford, between the Toronto Arrows and the Los Angeles Giltinis.
Gaming proceeds will be used by the team to tour Ontario late spring, including a game against the Arrow’s development squad. The boys are extremely excited at the opportunity to test themselves against top teams from out of province, as there are no club rugby national championships at any level. The team are current regional and defending provincial champions with a nucleus of this group playing together since 2018 and they have never lost a league game.
“One of the best things about rugby is any road trip”, quips coach Glenn Barlow. “Whether it is going across the pond to play on the mainland or getting on a plane to compete afar, the camaraderie is infectious and builds character in the players”.

Individual 50/50 tickets are $5 per and will be available from opening gates at 5:30pm until the end of half time. The draw will take place at 8:15 PST.
