JBAA Women drub Richmond

Wow…our JBAA women’s team just rolled up a 67-17 drubbing of their unfortunate Richmond hosts. Bus driver Thomas Woods careened into the park and spilled out a baker’s dozen of athletes ready to run rough-shod over anyone in their path…and they did!

Like the players of our Golden Years, the pack overwhelmed their opponents so aggressively that the ref’s concern for liability caused an uncontested scrum rule to be invoked. Despite this nod to wimpyness, the visitors blasted over for 14 tries during the match; Raelee Mulholland notched four tries while speedy winger Maggie Swan scored five tallies. Hunter Czeppel added three, while Sophia Erece chipped in two. Of note, Theresa De Groot-Francis laid out multiple opponents with monster tackles, while Hunter's pinpoint kicking frustrated the home team throughout the match.

Always nice to be on the good end of a jolly good spanking!
